Aranykapu Station and Stud

The stud was established by the town Hajduboszormeny, and by now it has a lot of success in the sport-horse breeding, in riding sports, and with the artifical insemination center. The first horses of the stud were hungarian sport horses, but then very soon several animals were imported for breeding from the most succesfull sport horse breeds of Europe, first of all from Germany. They bought broodmares and stallions mostly from Oldenburg, but there are hannoverian and holstein horses int he stud as well. The artifical insemination center has been working for about ten years, where one can find continously 5-6 real good quality stallions. Especially they are stallions after their succesfull sport-carrier on high level, proved their quality by their offsprings too. By now there are young covering stallions born in the Aranykapu stud, as well. Untill now the greatest success of the stud was Aranykapu Con Capilot, who is a sucsesfull show-jumper in the United States in these days, on the highest level. His son, Con Lapilot continues his blood-line here in Hungary. The young horses of the stud are competing in show-jumping or in dressage, but several of them are succesfull sport-horses already somewhere else, with other riders here in Hungary, or abroad.
